LATE ARRIVAL
Please notify the shop immediately via phone call if you are going to be late for your tattoo or consultation appointment. Last minute email or messaging will not be considered valid communication for notice of late arrival.
Arrivals that are 15-30 minutes past the scheduled starting time are subject to rescheduling.
The decision to reschedule is left to my discretion and is determined by how late you will arrive, the length of your appointment, my work schedule for the day, and what is best for the tattoo appointment.
NO CALL / NO SHOW
If you do not show up to your appointment and provide no follow-up within 24hrs, I will ask for a new deposit to be placed in order to rebook your appointment. Doing this more than once allows me the right to terminate the tattoo project and suspend future booking privileges.
GUESTS
One guest is allowed per client. Guests must be at least 18 years old; I do not allow anyone under 18 in my tattoo workspace.
For parties of +2 more who are getting tattooed, only two people from that party are allowed in my room at a time, one person getting tattooed and one accompanying.
I ask that all clients are respectful of the tattoo process, causing minimal disturbances and allowing the client and myself to make the best choices for their tattoo project.
DEPOSIT POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable and are deducted from the cost of your tattoo session on the day that the tattoo is completed.
Rescheduling or canceling:
4-7 days before your appointment will result in a 50% forfeiture of your deposit.
1-3 days before your appointment will result in a 100% forfeiture of your deposit.
Other instances of deposit forfeiture include:
Changing the entire design within 7 days of the appointment.
Late arrival or no call/no show.
Multiple instances of rescheduling or cancellations.

WHAT TYPE OF AFTERCARE DO YOU RECOMMEND?
I use Saniderm to bandage your tattoo at the end of the appointment. I also use Cling-Wrap for those who have sensitive skin and cannot use adhesive bandages. For washing the tattoo, I recommend an unscented antibacterial hand soap; Dial Gold is my personal favorite. For moisturizer, I recommend any unscented, gentle lotion that works best with your skin; I use either CeraVe or Aveeno on my own tattoos. I do not recommend petroleum-based lotions.
After your tattoo, I will discuss the aftercare procedure and give you an instructional pamphlet to take home.
CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?
No, I do not recommend using numbing cream before or during your tattoo appointment. Numbing cream changes the texture of skin and can make it difficult for ink to be properly deposited; this causes issues with saturation and solid healing. They can also inhibit the body’s ability to adapt to pain, which then makes the pain worse once the cream has worn off during the session.
During the tattoo session, I can use Bactine upon request to assist with discomfort.
DO YOU DO COLOR TATTOOS?
My style of tattooing is primarily black/grey illustrative dotwork; I do not do color tattoos. However, I am open to discussing small “pops” of color in a mostly black/grey piece. If the amount of color is more than 25% of the overall tattoo, I may defer you to a different artist.
DO YOU DO COVER-UP TATTOOS?
Yes, I do cover-ups on very rare occasions. This largely depends on the pre-existing tattoo. My style of tattooing requires a lot of open skin and light areas of shading, so it does not lend itself well to cover-ups unless the pre-existing tattoo is small or light enough. It is very case by case, but I am always willing to have a conversation to discuss options, even if that results in my deferring you to a different artist or to laser treatments.
DO YOU TATTOO OVER SCARRING, ECZEMA, BLEMISHES, ETC.?
I cannot tattoo over damaged skin; this includes sun burns, acne, abrasions (scrapes, cuts), rashes, and eczema. If you are experiencing damaged skin that may affect your tattoo appointment, please contact me to discuss how best to proceed.
I can tattoo over scarring. The scarring must be sufficiently healed. If it is deep scarring, it may affect the visual appearance of the tattoo; options can be discussed during a consultation.
I CANNOT TATTOO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE PREGNANT/NURSING.
